más vs. mas
- Más = more
- Mas = but, although, however, nevertheless.
Example:
- Quiero más ropa, mas no tengo dinero = I want more clothes, but I don’t have money.

ha this is good to know! because of italian i always say “ma” instead of “pero” when i speak spanish and i was always...
holy shit. ok when i was in brazil i kept saying “pero” when i wanted to say “but” and i had to try SO HARD to correct...
