Happy Valentines Day = Feliz día de San Valentín

“Feliz día del amor y la amistad”, which translates into “Happy day of love and friendship”, is also said on this day.

Here are some more phrases and words you can try out today (or whenever!) 

• I like you = Me gustas 
• Love = Amor
• Sweetheart = Corazón (not an exact translation, this means also “heart”)
• I love you = Te amo (or “te quiero”, which is a less serious or formal “I love you)
